I am a 30 year music industry vet. Ever since I took piano & guitar lessons as a kid, I knew I would work in this fascinating and rewarding industry. People NEED to be entertained in good times and in bad – so the music industry has no end, it simply changes distribution methods. I love MUSIC, I love people, and I don’t have to wear a suit (every day that is). Paid my dues starting out with Paul Yeskel’s AIM Marketing in New Jersey (he was one of my earliest mentors), then A&M Records in Chicago, and for the last 20 years DISNEY Music Group’s POP label – Hollywood Records – in Philly and NYC. I have furthered the careers of Janet Jackson, Bryan Adams, Amy Grant, Sheryl Crow, Soundgarden, Styx, Sting, Blues Traveler, Del Amitri, Fastball, Extreme, Hilary Duff, Miley Cyrus, Plain White T’s, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Jonas Brothers, and many others. In 2003 I brought Breaking Benjamin to the label, having discovered them in their hometown of Scranton, PA. They then went on to achieve MULTI PLATINUM Status with multiple # 1 Rock Tracks. Nothing gives me more pleasure hearing all these songs on the radio, watching the soundscan & streaming numbers soar, and discovering & sharing new talent that the world has yet to hear.
