Dr. Sallie Stadlen
Dr. Sallie Stadlen is an Internal Medicine physician with a well-established primary care practice on Philadelphia’s Main Line. Dr. Stadlen has been practicing medicine and caring for patients for over 25 years. Dr. Stadlen is a fierce advocate for her patients. Her passion is the comprehensive healthcare of women and the empowerment and navigation of the patient through the healthcare maelstrom. She is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine and has been on the medical staff of several Philadelphia hospitals and hospital systems on the Main Line. She has held various leadership and committee positions. She has played a role in the development of a Woman’s Heart Health program and a Women’s Health Resource program, and contributed to the improvement in communication between inpatient Hopitalist physicians and outpatient Primary Care physicians. Dr. Stadlen is a graduate of Bennington College and the Sackler School of Medicine. She completed her Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Dr. Stadlen lectures on Women’s Health issues including, but not limited to, Cardiovascular Disease, Breast Health, Osteoporosis, Post-partum Depression, Sexually Transmitted Infections, Hormone Replacement Therapy, Menopause, Getting the Most Out of Your Doctor Visits, and Sex in the “Golden Years”. Among her many accomplishments, Dr. Stadlen was a principal dancer in the motion picture FAME. Dr. Stadlen practices Mindfulness-Based Meditation and Qigong. In her leisure time she enjoys travel, reading, and spending time with her husband and daughters.
